Torrential rain and 60mph winds set to hit North Wales



Gale force winds and heavy rain are set to batter North Wales overnight.
Forecasters are warning gusts could reach up to 60mph which could spark travel chaos, damage to trees and power cuts.
A yellow weather warning for wind has been issued by the Met Office for all six North Wales counties.
The “be prepared” alert is in force from 9pm today until 9am on Thursday.
A Met Office spokesman said: “Westerly winds will bring gusts of 40-50 mph, and locally into 60s of mph.
