Tories in chaos over foreign worker lists
Abbott says they’re contradicting each other
TORY top brass were accused of contradicting themselves yesterday by ruling out the publication of firms’ lists of their foreign workers.
Defence Secretary Sir Michael Fallon and Education Secretary Justine Greening both insisted the information was aimed at improving government investment in skills training.
They said the lists, announced by Home Secretary Amber Rudd at the Tory Party conference last week, would never be made public or used for “naming and shaming.”
