'Too scared to live in my own home' - burglary victim's terror

A burglary which saw a raider make off with thousands of pounds of personal possessions has left a woman too scared to live in her own home.
Christine Bateson was horrified to return home from work one evening to find cupboard doors and drawers left open at her house.
At first she noticed a puddle of water on the floor of her home in Castle Street, Sleaford, which she cleaned up.
Then she went into the living room and saw cupboard doors open and desk drawers pulled out. As she began to realise what had happened she noticed a brick on the sofa and a hole in the living room window.
