The Scouse brawler faces the American on Saturday with a chance to retain the title he won during an explosive knockout victory over Ilunga Makabu in May.
But despite preparing for his first championship defence, the 33-year-old said he had one eye on a mouth-watering British super-fight with “the b**** from Bermondsey” – one David Haye.
“All I’ve said is I’m willing to fight him,” he told talkSPORT’s Fight Club.
