Tiny dog Benjamin in critical condition after hit-and-run in Nottingham Road, Chaddesden
 

A driver struck a tiny dog with their vehicle in a Derby street and then fled the scene without even stopping.
Devastated Valerie Stolyarova said her little pet Benjamin was now "in a critical condition" at a veterinary practice in Derby after he managed to squeeze through her legs and run out on to the street in Chaddesden, where he was hit by the car.
