Thug jailed for breaking wife's eye-socket
 

A thug previously jailed for stamping on a man’s head is back in prison after breaking his wife’s eye-socket.
Thomas O’Hanlon, 35, drunkenly launched into a sustained attack on Michalea Smyth at their house in Kirkby – leaving her needing plates fitted to her face.
Miss Smyth, whose children were asleep upstairs, told police officers her husband of two years “hit her as if she were a man” leaving her unconscious and bleeding on their kitchen floor.
