Three teenagers taken to hospital after 'eating cookies given to them by woman'



A 60-year-old woman has been arrested after three teenagers were hospitalised when they ate cookies alleged to have been given to them on Freeman Street.
Police have today confirmed, following a number of rumours on social media last night, that they are investigating after three children became ill having eaten cookies that were allegedly given to them by a woman on Saturday evening.
The children, two girls aged 13 and 15 and a 13-year-old boy, became ill after eating the biscuits and were taken to the Diana, Princes of Wales Hospital for treatment. They were later discharged having been... read more
