Three men to stand trial after reports nail gun 'fired' in chaos on street
 

Three men have denied being armed with a nail gun, a scythe, and a hammer and machete following an incident in which a driver was left badly injured.
Patrick Purcell, 20, needed hospital treatment for leg injuries following reports of an attack on Carisbrooke Road in Walton in which a nail gun was alleged to have been used.
Officers were called to the street at around 12.35pm on Monday, September 5, after a pick-up truck crashed into a parked car.
