Three in ten people mistake Humber Bridge for San Diego's Golden Gate Bridge



It is arguably one of Hull and East Riding's biggest landmarks.
And as the region prepares for over a million visitors to come to the city for UK City of Culture, no doubt a majority of those will be coming to us via the Humber Bridge.
But according to a new nationwide survey, less than one in three people even recognise the historic landmark.
According to the poll carried out by the National Railway Museum in fact, just as many people confused the Humber Bridge with San Diego's famous Golden Gate Bridge or the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Somerset.
