Three arrested in connection with Barrow phone scam



Cumbria Police are advising members of the public not to keep savings in their homes, and to be wary of giving any personal details to people they do not know.
This advice comes with both Barrow and Kendal CID currently investigating a small number of reported domestic burglaries and telephone fraud offences.
It is believed that suspects are targeting the elderly who may keep amounts of cash in their home and may be more at risk of falling foul of telephone fraud.
