Thousands raised for stricken dog kennel after five animals die in fire
 

Thousands of pounds have been raised for five dogs killed in a kennel fire.
Firefighters were called to a burning shed containing 10 dogs on Monday at around 11.30am.
But five of the dogs were killed, despite a brave volunteer risking her life to save them.
Three of the German Shepherds have been named as Max, Mitch and Jackson.
Now a Just Giving page has been set up to offer help to the stricken German Shepherd Dog Rescue group.
And the public has smashed the original £2,000 target with nearly £7,000 raised so far.
