Thousands honour dementia sufferers in biggest ever Memory Walk



The North East has just hosted its biggest ever memory walk in honour of people affected by dementia.
‘Grab them by the p***y t-shirts’ already for sale after Donald Trump’s degrading comments More than 4,500 people congregated in South Shields, South Tyneside, to pay tribute to those who had battled the condition.
‘We were blown away by the numbers this year,’ said Rebecca Scott, who is an officer for the Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk.
‘Last year we had around 2,500 which was a record in itself, but this year we almost doubled that, which is amazing.’
