A meagre meal offered to an elderly resident at a £600-a-week care home has sparked fury after her grandson posted an image of the food on line.
A full investigation was under way after the shocking photo of two slices of corned beef, a ramekin dish of baked beans and can of Diet Coke with a straw appeared.
Robert Cinnamond claimed the paltry offering was served to his grandmother - who is not named - for her Sunday evening meal.
He told his followers that Cregagh Nursing Home in Belfast, where he claimed the meal was served to the pensioner, should be “ashamed”.
