This is the crash scene 'incredibly lucky' driver walked away from... after plummeting 650ft from road



A driver whose vehicle plunged 650ft off a mountainside was “incredibly lucky” to have walked away from the scene without more serious injuries, says a mountain rescue expert.
The vehicle left the B4391 after colliding with a lorry between Llangynog and Bala .
Details have now emerged that the man was able to get out and walk from the wreckage of the white van to the awaiting air ambulance.
The driver suffered a head injury but it is not thought to be life-threatening.
