'This is not a sad story, it’s a love story': Mum wants to tackle taboo of talking about newborn deaths
 

CONGRATULATIONS cards, balloons and banners, all in baby blue, festooned the house when Carla Notman arrived home with her newborn baby boy, Isaac, this summer.
“My mum had put them all up while I was at the hospital,” she said. “Then it came from nowhere. I couldn’t stop crying. With the boys it had been sympathy cards, so it was a reminder of everything that had happened. It was so bittersweet.”
Last year, the 26-year-old and her partner, Dozi Okere, lost two baby boys. Joel was born on February 2 and lived for 10 minutes. Lucas was born on September 23 and lived for 45 minutes
