This is how brazen fly-tippers in the West Midlands are getting away with it



Councils in the West Midlands spent more than £57,000 sending warning letters to fly-tippers last year - but only prosecuted a handful of people.
The latest government figures revealed that there were 33,286 incidents of fly-tipping recorded in the region in 2016-17 - the equivalent of four incidents every hour.
However, the data also shows that in many cases, councils in the West Midlands failed to take any action against fly-tippers.
