This family looks after 11 bears including a 100st Kodiak called Jimmy
 

If you think your dog is hard to manage, just imagine having a 100st Kodiak brown bear as part of your family.
Jim and Susan Kowalczik look after 9ft Jimmy at their animal orphanage.
The pair now care for 11 bears, including Syrian and black bears on their estate. Most were rescued as cubs from breeding programmes or nature reserves that closed down.
‘Jimmy is my best friend,’ says Jim, 57. ‘It doesn’t get any better than that. He loves you just for you.’
They’ve had Jimmy for 21 years since he was a little cub.
