Third man bailed in connection with stabbing near to De Montfort University



A third man has been bailed in connection with a stabbing outside student flats in the city centre.
Two men aged 20 and an 18-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and have been bailed pending further enquiries.
Officers were called to Oxford Street, in Leicester, near to the Bowling Green pub and De Montfort University, at around 5.40pm on Friday, October 7, following a report of a man injured in the street.
A 37-year-old man was found with stab wounds and was taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary for treatment. He has since been discharged.
