A cannabis-smoking thief stole a mobile phone from the pocket of a Liverpool murder victim as he lay dying on the street.
Curtis Connick took Kevin Wilson’s phone minutes after the 17-year-old had been shot in the back in a street attack near Smithdown Road that ultimately proved fatal.
The 31-year-old eventually dumped the mobile in a bin near Lime Street station - destroying crucial evidence and sparking a three day search of a rubbish dump as police desperately hunted for the device.
