They must be barking! The tiny houses in America made out of giant tree stumps

In a world of waste, every effort to recycle should be applauded, but special commendation has to go to the creators of these tree stump houses. 
Instead of allowing a felled tree to sit unloved, some enterprising men and women across the US have hollowed out the base. 
The wooden holes inside the trunk have then been turned into shelters. 
Unsurprisingly, a project of this kind would take many years. 
The trunk has to be sawn into a point at the top so that there is a good foundation for the roof.
