These artists are using temporary tattoos to open up the conversation around invisible disabilities and illnesses
 

When your disability or illness can’t be seen, it’s easy to feel invisible.
Your symptoms and experiences are hidden. What you’re dealing with isn’t immediately noticeable to others.
You can end up feeling isolated and alone, often feeling like you have to explain, defend, or prove yourself because there’s no visual evidence of what you’re going through.
Being unwell is hard enough. But the struggle of getting the support you need when your illness or disability isn’t able to be seen makes it even tougher.
One group of artists want to help make people going through this feel less alone.
