These are the new student tower blocks that look set to rise from the rubble of Liverpool’s old National Express coach station.
Anwyl Construction wants to build the 566-bed complex on the Norton Street site.
Now its scheme for the 16-storey and 10-storey blocks, both facing onto busy Islington, have been recommended for approval at next week’s Liverpool council planning meeting.
And despite planners’ disapproval, an existing digital advertising screen will be kept on as part of the new development.
