​These are the six designs for the Great Central Railway's new £18m Leicester Main Line museum



A series of designs for a new multi-million pound heritage rail museum in Leicester have been revealed today.
Great Central Railway is looking to build Main Line at its Leicester North station and have shortlisted six possible concepts for how the museum will appear.
An exhibition was held today at the Platform Cafe at Greenacres near the site of the proposed museum.
The designs by the shortlisted architects - BDP, Carmody Groarke, Farrells, Grimshaw, Hawkins Brown and Wilkinson Eyre – were showcased at the event.
