​These are the most complained about dog breeds in Leicester



Officials say a third of complaints about aggressive dogs in Leicester have involved Staffordshire Bull Terriers - but an owners' club believes the breed is being misidentified or that their owners are at fault for their behaviour.
Statistics released by the city council show there have been 116 reports of dogs biting people, other dogs, attacking cats or frightening the public since the start of 2015.
Staffies or Staffie cross-breeds featured in 37 of the reports making it the most complained about breed of dog.
