These are the hand luggage allowances for Ryanair, easyJet, Virgin Atlantic and other major airlines



Ryanair announced last year it would be making changes to its cabin bag policy and these new rules have come into effect this month.
Last September, the budget airline revealed it was changing the rules so that only priority boarding passengers could take two cabin bags on board.
This meant, if passengers wanted to take more than one small piece of hand luggage, they would need to pay for priority boarding.
Towards the end of October, the company confirmed they would be pushing the launch of this new policy to January 15, 2018.
