Bullying doesn’t always have to be ugly. In the instance of last night’s gathering at the Emirates Stadium, when Theo Walcott reduced Basle to a confused, quivering wreck, it was actually quite beautiful. Stunning, in fact.
Take one of his less dramatic moments in the first half as an example. A Basle attack down the left had just amounted to nothing when their centre-half Eder Balanta pointed to his team-mate, the left-back Adama Traore, to ask why he had not made a run down the flank.
