It is Horace Green, the exclusive $50,000 a year American prep school that, unwittingly, finds itself home to supply teacher Dewey Finn’s School Of Rock. Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new musical, with a book adapted from the hit film by Julian Fellowes, depicts how the feckless, unemployed, Dewey inveigles himself into the school.
