The world's best surfer gives his verdict on Surf Snowdonia



Current world number one surfer Jordy Smith has come to North Wales to test out the Surf Snowdonia lagoon.
In a bid to tackle the man-made waves, Jordy Smith found a gap in his busy competition schedule and headed to the Conwy Valley.
The 29-year-old South African - currently rated as the world number one - put the inland wave lagoon through its paces.
He said: “The surf has been quite small in California so it was good to ride several waves in a short period of time.
