KRASNODAR’S stunning new stadium opened at the weekend as the future met the past.
European football ’s newest arena in the east of Russia is a nod to the Roman Colosseum.
But the design is also futuristic, with a 360 screen around the inside walls of the 33,000-seater.
The futuristic ground hosted Russia’s friendly defeat to Costa Rica at the weekend – but surprisingly no games will be played at it during World Cup 2018.
