The shocking number of primary school children being suspended or expelled for attacking teachers
 

Shocking new figures show primary school pupils in Salford are the most likely in England to be expelled for attacking teachers.
The figures reveal there were 22 permanent exclusions from state-funded primaries across Salford in 2015/16 - the equivalent of nine in every 10,000 pupils.
Of those, four pupils were expelled for attacks on adults.
In state funded primaries in Manchester, the figures show there were 12 permanent exclusions last year in total.
Figures also show the number of temporary exclusions which were dished out as a short-term punishment.
