The Queen's Head in Ockbrook set to reopen and £500k revamp will create 25 new jobs
 

A Derbyshire village pub which shut earlier this year is set to reopen next month creating 25 new jobs.
The Queen's Head, in Ockbrook, is to be given a new lease of life by independent pub company Stonegate. The firm is investing £500,000 to breathe new life into the Victoria Avenue pub - and has launched a recruitment drive to find staff to work in the revamped venue.
The building is owned by Burton-based pub firm Punch Taverns. But Stonegate Pub Company has signed a long-term deal with Punch to operate the Queen's Head. The deal was reached this week and work has now started to restore... read more
