'The public should have their say over devolution' - Jeremy Corbyn's message to North East leaders
 

Jeremy Corbyn has called on his Labour colleagues in the North East to get back around the table over devolution.
The multibillion pound deal was scuppered last month when Durham, Gateshead, Sunderland and South Tyneside refused to accept the Government’s terms.
The deal would have meant £900m worth of investment for the region, new powers to improve transport, strategic planning powers and the devolution of skills funding for training.
