This is how two pubs could look after a huge £750k cash boost to make them ‘traditional locals with a modern edge’.
The Windmill at Failsworth and the Bird I’ Th Hand at Urmston are getting major revamps both inside and outside.
Work started this week on a £250,000 refurbishment of The Windmill and a £336,000 refurbishment of the Bird I’ Th Hand.
Both projects are being under taken in conjunction with new licensees and independent business people who are also local residents.
