'The Humber Monster is real - I saw it!'



Is the Humber Monster - the East Coast's answer to the Loch Ness - a legend or a complete myth?
Tales of the Humber Monster, a beast said to have a head the size of an elephant, six humps and terrifying flashing eyes, will no doubt be dismissed as fantasy.
But one man has come forward who believes he saw it on Grimsby Fish Dock's North Wall - and was terrified of swimming in the sea at Cleethorpes ever-after.
Pensioner John Cottrell-Smith says he is certain it is real, believes he saw it as a small child before the Second World War.
