The green, green grass of Scunthorpe Church of England Primary School



PUPILS at Scunthorpe CofE Primary School in Gurnell Street finally have their own school field to play on after a £270,000 investment and six-year wait.
The playing field - which was previously occupied by houses - was officially opened today (Friday, October 14).
Children gathered to sing a pitch-perfect rendition of 'This Little Light of Mine' in the school hall before councillor David Rose cut the ribbon and officially opened the new playing field outside.
