A raft of Greater Manchester MPs have made Labour’s frontbench following leader Jeremy Corbyn’s re-shuffle.
Some new faces have been handed promotions after a rethink from Mr Corbyn following his victory over leadership contender Owen Smith.
Three MPs from Greater Manchester have returned to the frontbench after quitting earlier this year as tensions rose in the party under Mr Corbyn’s regime.
They were among 12 of the shadow cabinet and several shadow ministers to walk out following a motion of no confidence in Mr Corbyn, submitted in part by Stockport MP Ann Coffey.
