The Greater Lincolnshire debate: 'Layer of bureaucracy' concerns Labour group



NORTH Lincolnshire Council leader Baroness Liz Redfern described the devolution plans as "bold and ambitious" during the authority's latest meeting.
Councillors met to discuss the findings of the consultation report and to decide whether or not to back the Greater Lincolnshire Mayoral Combined Authority plans.
Councillor Redfern spoke of the need for North Lincolnshire to be part of a combined authority in the 21st century and said the proposals would bring greater wealth to local residents.
