The Good Immigrant tops readers' book poll
 

A collection of essays by black, Asian and minority ethnic writers has been voted the best book of the year.
The Good Immigrant includes essays about race and immigration in modern Britain from 21 authors including actor Riz Ahmed and comedian Nish Kumar.
It was named winner of the Readers Choice Award at the inaugural Books Are My Bag Readers Awards, which received votes from more than 50,000 people.
The book was partially crowdfunded, with author JK Rowling donating £5,000.
