The Crusader: Cold calling cheat who preyed on vulnerable gets five years
 

He has now been imprisoned for five years after being convicted of fraudulent trading through two companies, the Telecom Preference Service Ltd (also known as TPS) and Compete Business Marketing Ltd (known also the Compete Phone Solutions and Call Prevention Service).
This follows an £80,000 fine by data protection enforcer the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) last year.
