Terrorists in aeroplane bomb plot ‘planned hostage-taking at Full Sutton prison’



Two terrorists who plotted to blow up aeroplanes are suspected of helping to plan the abduction of a guard at an East Yorkshire prison.
Assad Sarwar and Tanvir Hussain are said to have been "supportive" in plotting a hostage-taking at the maximum security Full Sutton prison.
Both were inmates at the jail, near Pocklington, when prison officer Richard Thompson was taken hostage and threatened in 2013. It happened days after the murder of Lee Rigby, who was killed by Muslim extremists in a London street.
