A newlywed who was terminally ill with cancer has received the all-clear from a second scan after a fundraising campaign raised more than £400,000 in just two days.
Mike Brandon, 31, was told there was nothing more doctors could do for him after exhausting all treatment options for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
But his desperate wife, Kate, 33, set up a the #donate4mike fundraising page in a last-ditch effort to send him to the US for a clinical trial she believed could save his life.
