Tennis: McNammee wins third consecutive East Kilbride Tennis Club crown
 

ALAN MCNAMEE made it a hat-trick of men’s singles titles at the East Kilbride Tennis Club Championships earlier this month.
The 18-year-old, who became the club’s youngest ever men’s champion when he lifted his first title in 2014, beat Luke Quigley in straight sets at Calderglen Sports Club on September 10 to win his third singles title.
This year he had a new opponent in the shape of Quigley who had beaten Cameron Laing, the man who lost the last two finals to McNamee, in the semi-finals.
