Teenager scarred for life after being brutally slashed with knife near Deansgate Locks
 

A teenager will be scarred for life after he was brutally slashed with a knife in the city centre.
The innocent victim has been left with a deep ‘smiler-style’ scar following the unprovoked attack near Manchester’s Deansgate Locks.
Police say the 18-year-old victim was standing on the road outside Deansgate Locks next to a large group of men and women early on a Saturday morning.
An altercation took place between the group and a man ran towards the victim and slashed him across the face with what is believed to be a utility knife.
