Teenager paid £5,000 to have leg amputated after ingrowing toenail went bad

A teenage girl paid for her own leg to be amputated after an operation to remove an ingrowing toenail went wrong.
Hannah Moore, 19, took drastic action when a flesh eating hole appeared in her blackened foot last year.
She had desperately tried a number of treatments to cure the rare condition, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), which was triggered by minor surgery in 2012.
