Teenage girl swept into the sea at Bridlington by large wave



A teenage girl was swept into the sea by a large wave in Bridlington.
Humber Coastguard received a number of 999 calls at about 5.15pm on Sunday reporting the teenager had fallen into the water from the slipway at Bridlington harbour.
The coastguard helicopter and an inshore lifeboat were quickly on the scene but the girl had managed to get back to safety.
A spokesman for Bridlington Coastguard said: "We received a number of 999 calls from members of the public at 5.16pm today.
