Teenage girl died after Alder Hey Hospital drugs blunder
 

A 15-YEAR-OLD girl in remission from leukaemia died after being given drugs that made her condition worse.
Robyn Ellson suffered “toxic effects” from an oral chemotherapy treatment that clashed with her dialysis for kidney failure and made her gradually more and more unwell.
The teenager, in the care of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, died more than four years ago, on January 19, in 2013, an inquest heard today.
