Teenage boy punched by two men after they knocked off his cap in Newcastle

A teenage boy was attacked and his hat stolen in an attack in Newcastle.
The assault happened on New Bridge Street near the Tanners Arms pub , when two men punched the 17-year-old and knocked off his cap.
People waiting to catch a bus are believed witnessed the attack and they are being urged to speak to police.
In a statement, Northumbria Police said: “Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Newcastle.
“Between 12:30pm and 12:40pm on Friday, September 23, a 17-year-old boy was assaulted in New Bridge Street outside of the St Vincent De Pauls premises.
