Teen who stole money from home of people with learning difficulties given sentence ensuring immediate release
 

A teenager who stole money from a home for people with learning difficulties promised to keep his nose clean as was freed from custody.
Nathan McManus, 19, took petty cash and money belonging to the residents of the Stockton home on July 19.
A member of staff found drawers open as well as the cash tins in a kitchen cupboard. One had been forced open.
McManus stole £80 from one tin, £70 from another, leaving his fingerprints on one of the containers.
McManus, of Hartington Road, central Stockton , admitted theft.
