Teen who passed 10 GCSES while going through chemotherapy dies
 

An ‘inspirational’ teenage girl who passed 10 GCSEs while undergoing treatment for a rare form of cancer has died.
Kelly Turner, from Dover, Kent, was given two years to live when she was diagnosed with a desmoplastic small round cell tumour in October 2015.
Celebrities, including X-Men star James McAvoy – who donated £50,000 in February – and musician Bryan Adams, rallied round to back her fundraising appeal.
The 17-year-old underwent dozens of rounds of chemotherapy in England, but doctors said they could not risk operating on the tumour due to its proximity to her liver.
