Teen devastated after her dad's ashes were stolen

A grieving teenager has appealed for the return of her dad’s ashes after they were stolen at a Wirral train station.
Lauren Lewis, 17, was at Leasowe Station when a handbag containing the ashes was taken at around 7am on Sunday, August 28.
Police say the vial containing her father’s may have been mistaken for jewellery.
Miss Lewis said: “I had just returned from Ireland where my dad lived and was cremated.
“It had been emotional few days and we arrived at Leasowe station laden down with bags.
